About

Keri Gans is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist & Certified Yoga Teacher

Keri Gans Nutrition, CEO

My philosophy in nutrition is quite simple.

Hi, I’m Keri. I’ll be honest: I hate kale and sweet potatoes, but I love Brussels sprouts and French fries. I practice yoga by day, play pickleball whenever I can, and enjoy a martini at night. Balance is my motto.

I’ve been a registered dietitian nutritionist for over twenty-five years, and I still love what I do. My philosophy is straightforward: there are no “good” or “bad” foods. All foods can be part of a healthy diet—it’s about balance, variety, and figuring out what works best for you. Deprivation is not part of my vocabulary.

Keri is available as a brand spokesperson,
public speaker, writer, consultant, social media influencer, and one-on-one nutrition counselor.

If your energy regularly disappears by midafternoon, take a closer look at lunch.

A meal with protein, fiber-rich carbohydrates, produce, and some healthy fat is more likely to keep you satisfied and energized than one that’s missing an important piece.

Before reaching for an afternoon cup of coffee, ask yourself: Did lunch give me enough fuel?

September has a way of making us feel like we should suddenly have everything “back on track.”
But healthy eating doesn’t require a reset and it definitely doesn’t require starting over.

Instead, think about what might make this season feel a little easier.
Maybe it’s:
• getting back to a more consistent breakfast
• adding a fruit or vegetable to lunch
• planning one or two dinners before the week begins
• keeping a few easy snacks on hand
• drinking a little more water during the day

Small changes still count and they’re often much easier to stick with than an all-or-nothing September overhaul.

What’s one habit you’d like to bring into the new month?

Nutrition recommendations can sound great on paper, but they have to work with your schedule, preferences, budget, and lifestyle to be truly helpful.

That’s why practical nutrition matters.

Sometimes the best choice is the one that makes eating well easier, whether that’s a simple home-cooked meal, something convenient from the grocery store, or a meal you pick up on a busy day.

Good nutrition should feel approachable enough to actually use.
